Does anyone knows how much cost a Gaynor Minden pointe in Portugual or Spain????
I’m going there in a few months, and i really would love to buy one.
Does any of my adorable followers know or have any ideia of the price?

I have lots of friends that gave up dancing ballet because they thought pointe was too hard. And i started thinking about writing all tips and help i know about specifically it, pointe shoes, how to use it, tutorials, pain, everything.
What do you think?
Tomorrow i will be doing a jazz and ballet solo with this music, its really, really hard, like its all turns, fouettes, pirouettes, and sissones. I almost cant handle the whole coreography. And there is so many fouettes, and even now, one day before the big day, i still fall in the last fouettes. Its like one of the hardest things i’ve ever done.
So, wish me luck tomorrow.
paigiepuppy asked: I really, really want to move up a level in ballet class. I just started this year, and I'm one of the oldest in my class (It's for ages 10-12 and I'm 13) and I really want to move up by the end of the year, and maybe go en pointe in a couple years. Any tips?
Practice, ballet doesnt come easily, more you practice, better for you.
It may sound stupid but the things you have to worry now are the basis, now is the time to work your en dors, and pliés, they may look an-important at the begining, but with the time you will reliase the importance of them.Dont get obssesed with the biggest, the adagios, or grand battement, when you are doing them, focus in your en dors, your posture.
And about the age thing, i already dance with youngest girls before, and that doesnt say anything about your dance, capacity, or ability, some 11 years old girls dance like professionals, and some not.So believe me when i say, the only person who measure your capacity is you, not the one that dances with you.
A big, important, stretching tip : Stretch yourself everyday, maybe 10, 20, 30 minutes a day, and with time, you will see the difference, just dont give up if you cant see any progress in the beginning.
In the adagios, keep the posture, like there’s something pulling you up, for the left and for the right, equally, will make it easier, and help in the balance in centre.
And always, always, follow your teacher advices, she’s is the one who’s helping you in everything after all.And remeber, you cant jump anything properly without a good pliés work. You cant do good moves without a good en dors work.
So good luck, and i hope i helped.
Yesterday, was the opening night of Chicago, my musical.

It was like one the hardest nights of my life.I dont present on a theater about a year or so, and it was my first time singing, and i was actually doing a very hard solo.
I have less than a minute to change my entire clothing and my hair, and then get on the stage, and again with the blonde wig.I couldnt test my headset, the microphone, so the guy who shares the headset with me, test and said it was okay. But when i sang to the whole public, it kept failing, and some times just didnt work, it was very very difficult to sing like that. And, to make everything better i forgot my lyrics, well, actually were just two lines of the song that i didnt remermber, but there wasnt any akward silences, i just jumped a few lines, and kept singing and the band followed me, so nobody noticed.
And in the end of the musical, they were judges who said to us what they thought of the musical. Also known as the scariest moment of my life. They said it was pity our singing headset( mine and the guy who plays Amos Hart) werent working properly, but it was only tecnical fault which they should ignore in the judgement of the whole musical, and they like very much, surprised such young cast could do such adult musical.
The judge told me that i did a pretty good job in the stage, and i reminded him to an old beautiful actress( note to self: research about her).

And it is first play, where i act, dance, and sing, wich takes everything to a new level. But in the end, everything kind of worked, and i learnd lots of things about theater, musicals, singing. So i’m really glad i could make part of it.So in the next week i will be presenting again( and this time, i will test my singing headset, and make sure it works properly).
Have you ever had bad days in the ballet class, when your teacher keeps pushing you, but you dont think you can, and when the class ends, you feel like the biggest failure in the word?
